Summer Fun!

We have just been hanging out this summer. Going to the beach and pool as much as possible. Kailee had her very first ballet recital! She was so excited until we got to the dress rehearsal and then she was sad. She told us she needed to go home and change because all of the other girls were wearing her same outfit. She is such a diva!
The kids made Clay breakfast for father's day as he had to work that day.
The next three are from our trip to Maui! We went over so that Breana could play in the No Ka Oi Tournament with her Uncle's club. She got hurt and had a rough time. T.J. called his old coach from Maui and he was able to play with his old Manuia team! We all had so much fun. We were able to stay at the Grand although the kids were pretty bummed we were at the park all day our swim time was limited. I kept telling Clay, " Doesn't this feel right. We should move back." We LOVE Maui!
These are a few photos from a botched photo session in june. I got all the kids bathed, clean, teeth brushed, wearing clean cloths and I took them up to the park. That in its self is no easy feat. When we got there Kailee lost it and refused to have her picture taken. So, my outdated photos on the wall will have to stay for now.
These last shots are from our "hike" to Kiholo bay. T.J. has been working on the family fun section of his Bear book. We hiked down to the water, had a picnic, and T.J. made a trail snack and helped with the picnic. Breana has been wanting to try and find the beaches that we see from the plane when we fly in and out and so we killed two birds with one stone. The hike down was a lot longer than we anticipated and the beach was mostly rocky. There was an amazing fresh water pond in a lava tube. It was once called the Queens bath and was supposed to have healing properties. Luckily we got a little turned around on the way back and I couldn't find the trail. Another beach goer that had been in the tube when we were offered us a ride back to our car. I told T.J. it still counts as the hike down was at least a mile and a half maybe two :)
June has come and gone and July is well under way. We have already had a fun beach day with dad and his friends, attended a duck race and watched fireworks on the fourth of July. I will post pictures later. Hope everyone else is having an awesome summer as well!!!
