Christmas

We hope you all had a wondeful Christmas!! Thought I would share a few pictures of the kids. The kids get new jammies every year for Christmas. It was soo funny this year because Breana and T.J. were talking about all the years past and were laughing at each other because it took them 6 years to figure out that the 1 present they got to open on Christmas eve was always pajamas. Breana is looking more and more grown up. We always joke that she only has 6 years left with us. Sometimes it seems so far away but most days it's a sad thought. I wish I could slow time for the next couple of years and let the kids savor and enjoy their childhood. I think it's true what they say though, childhood is wasted on the young. All mine ever talk about is growing up and how great its gonna be. They don't believe me when I tell them they are gonna miss being young but obladeeoblada. Right? This little stinker kept her jammies clean for a good 20 mins. That's when she found the cookies that had been left out for Santa. Ha ha. She is always eating and gets what ever she wants from all of us. which is probably why the only thing she says as of late is ish. Kailee enjoying the aftermath. Happy New year to all!! Hope 2014 is good to you!

Halloween

Thought I would post some of our Halloween pictures! We love Halloween!! Can you tell? The cutest lion ever thanks to auntie Heather! She didn't like the hood but quickly forgot her discomfort when she realized people were giving her candy! Best butterfly wings ever, thanks to Grandma! Kailee loved the huge wings and had a blast. Please forgive the face painting it is kinda hard to paint a wiggly 3 year old. The most awesome lego Indiana Jones thank to yours truly! This one was fun and easy. He was embarrassed at first but got over it (funny how candy can work magic). He got so many compliments. People who knew who he was were really impressed. Everyone else thought he was a cowboy. Ha ha ha! I love that he can't see over the box in this one. Kailee is already talking about next year. She wants to be Glinda the good witch. I think Chelsie would make a killer witch of the West.:)

Summer has come and gone. I am patting myself on the back as it has only been over 1 month since we last checked in! Summer was fun with more beach days than any other summer yet. Here is a sassy Kailee T.J. and Clay decided to butcher a pig together for some father son bonding time. T.J. enjoyed it, although he did say it was a little sad when the pig died. Their bacon was awesome! The next 2 are from the 4th of July. We spent all day down at the mall. I packed lunch and dinner and we participated in a duck race, played carnival games, ate popcorn and cotton candy and watched some fireworks. There was some bathroom confusion right as the fire works started and Kailee was scared and hid under a blanket. So, I found myself watching fireworks alone until the older two finally made it back for the big finale. Seesh 4 kids is a circus! Another fun evening at the beach. T.J. played a tournament in Hilo. The did great and we had fun on our mini stay cation. Lastly, I finally got a family picture. I did a craft for girls camp where each girl needed a family picture and guess who didn't have one? Thats right Breana! We ran up to the park and set the camera to timer. Not professional by any means but we are all there and that is the qualifications for a family photo right? The whole family in the picture. School has started along with soccer. I am teaching a small preschool at our house for Kailee and a few of her friends and I am coaching Breana's soccer team as they did not have a coach. So,(deep breath) we are going to be super busy in the next few months. I hope to keep posting once a month or so but we'll see how it goes.

Summer Fun!

We have just been hanging out this summer. Going to the beach and pool as much as possible. Kailee had her very first ballet recital! She was so excited until we got to the dress rehearsal and then she was sad. She told us she needed to go home and change because all of the other girls were wearing her same outfit. She is such a diva!
The kids made Clay breakfast for father's day as he had to work that day.
The next three are from our trip to Maui! We went over so that Breana could play in the No Ka Oi Tournament with her Uncle's club. She got hurt and had a rough time. T.J. called his old coach from Maui and he was able to play with his old Manuia team! We all had so much fun. We were able to stay at the Grand although the kids were pretty bummed we were at the park all day our swim time was limited. I kept telling Clay, " Doesn't this feel right. We should move back." We LOVE Maui!
These are a few photos from a botched photo session in june. I got all the kids bathed, clean, teeth brushed, wearing clean cloths and I took them up to the park. That in its self is no easy feat. When we got there Kailee lost it and refused to have her picture taken. So, my outdated photos on the wall will have to stay for now.
These last shots are from our "hike" to Kiholo bay. T.J. has been working on the family fun section of his Bear book. We hiked down to the water, had a picnic, and T.J. made a trail snack and helped with the picnic. Breana has been wanting to try and find the beaches that we see from the plane when we fly in and out and so we killed two birds with one stone. The hike down was a lot longer than we anticipated and the beach was mostly rocky. There was an amazing fresh water pond in a lava tube. It was once called the Queens bath and was supposed to have healing properties. Luckily we got a little turned around on the way back and I couldn't find the trail. Another beach goer that had been in the tube when we were offered us a ride back to our car. I told T.J. it still counts as the hike down was at least a mile and a half maybe two :)
June has come and gone and July is well under way. We have already had a fun beach day with dad and his friends, attended a duck race and watched fireworks on the fourth of July. I will post pictures later. Hope everyone else is having an awesome summer as well!!!

Last day of school

Summer is here! The last day of school we went to the beach. Hopefully the first of many trips this summer. I didn't get a picture of Kailee so the last picture is from earlier this year. I was in a hurry headed to a doctors appointment or something. Kai came out and said I'm ready and this was what she looked like. She was mad at me because I was laughing so hard. Of course I had to snap a picture before we cleaned up and left.

Ho'olaule'a

The kids just had their Ho'olaule'a on friday. They did an amazing job. Clay was not able to make it so I did record their performances but you all know how good I am with computers. I don't know how to change my .mov to something compatible with this site. So maybe after my IT person calls I can get it up here. Kailee had her own little camera and was helping me take pictures all day. Until Breana got a hold of the camera. T.J. is rockin the mohawk again. A friend of ours made a comment about his shirt. She said, "leave it to T.J. to wear a shark shirt". Their song was about surfing. Baby Chels in the hot hot sun. It was a long program but a good one. It was just super hard to handle 2 kids by myself and take pictures and record for Clay. We made it and I gave myself a pat on the back for not loosing it until we got home. :)
