Clay's parents came over for thanksgiving, as we both had to work, and since then it feels like we have been going non-stop. Here is a small sampling of what we have been up to. In no particular order.
Gingerbread houses with friends(made out of rice krispie treats.) I made the mistake of making real ones last year thinking we are much drier here on Maui and they all collapsed within days.
Taking pictures for Christmas cards(that I have yet to send).
Making ornaments. We make the ornaments for our tree every year. It all started because my husband is a scrooge and he wouldn't let me spend too much on Christmas. And now it has become a fun activity that the kids look forward to and they keep their eye out for things that would make good ornaments.

Clayton's Christmas party for the kids at the grand Wailea.
T.J.'s Christmas program and party at his preschool.
Making treats for teachers and friends.Add to that the usual shopping, Christmas parties, wrapping presents, packaging and mailing gifts. And then add the everyday chaos of school,work and errands and it's a miracle that I was even able to post this. Sorry for the gap in between posts grandma and grandpa I'll make it a resolution for next year! HA HA HA!
